Our Core Values

Through decades of professional and philanthropic work, Citrine's founder and president, Lynn Jerath, has come to recognize how profound racial segregation is, both geographically and in terms of capital availability. She is committed to addressing these inequalities and improving lives in the nation's most disinvested communities. Central to Lynn's vision is the pursuit of racial equity and the empowerment of these communities through transformative shifts in the built environment.

A PRO-BONO INITIATIVE

Citrine provided pro-bono private equity advisory to Lawndale Christian Development Corporation in its quest to bring 250 single-family affordable homes, along with valuable homebuyer education courses, to the North Lawndale community. The project has the potential to be a transformative model for North Lawndale and inner cities across the country looking to ameliorate housing quality through means other than gentrification.
