Alex focuses on the origination, underwriting, structuring, and execution of real estate transactions. He also assists Citrine with asset management special projects and works closely with third-party relationships.

Alex began his career with U.S. Bank’s commercial real estate finance team where he spent five years underwriting and originating loans across all major property types throughout the U.S. Most recently, Alex was a Vice President at a NYC-based real estate private equity firm where he led the acquisitions process for workforce housing investment opportunities. He has also formed three separate partnerships which have acquired and re-developed apartment communities in the Twin Cities.

Alex holds a MS in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He earned a BA in International Studies and a BS in Finance from Boston College.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends as well as outdoor activities of all kinds – especially sailing, waterskiing, and snow skiing.
