Alex leads investment sourcing, underwriting, and execution across Citrine's real estate strategies. He is actively involved in all phases of the investment cycle, including deal structuring, capital markets, portfolio management, and value creation initiatives. He also assists with asset-level special projects and focuses on building strategic partnerships.

Alex brings nearly a decade of diverse experience across real estate investment, development, and finance. Prior to joining Citrine, he was a Vice President at a New York-based real estate private equity firm where he led the acquisition of workforce housing communities throughout the U.S. He began his career on U.S. Bank's commercial real estate finance team, underwriting and originating credit across all major property types nationally. In addition to his institutional experience, Alex has sponsored three partnerships that acquired and redeveloped multifamily assets in the Twin Cities.

Alex holds a Master of Science in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and dual undergraduate degrees in International Relations and Finance from Boston College.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends as well as outdoor activities of all kinds - especially sailing, waterskiing, and snow skiing.
